Outpost appointed to operate The Store House, a 369-bed PBSA development in Leeds, marking expansion of the Enclave brand into student living.

Outpost Management today announces the launch of Enclave: Student, a new purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) platform backed by funds and accounts managed by BlackRock, and appointment as operating partner for The Store House, a 369-bedroom student scheme in Leeds.

The appointment marks the latest evolution of Outpost Management’s Enclave platform, extending the brand’s convenience-led, tech-enabled and design-focused approach into student living.

Under the new Enclave: Student platform, Outpost will be responsible for the operational strategy, leasing, resident experience and day-to-day management of the asset, applying the same operating principles that underpin its growing Enclave co-living and build-to-rent portfolio across the UK.

The Store House is a major PBSA development on Briggate in central Leeds and designed by Corstorphine & Wright Architects. It features expansive amenity spaces designed to enhance the students’ wellbeing, social interaction, and productivity; from cutting-edge co-working and study spaces, to recreational lounges, a resident gym, contemporary screening room, private dining room and an exclusive rooftop terrace.

The appointment builds on the established partnership between Outpost Management and BlackRock real estate, who have jointly developed and opened three Enclave developments in London’s King’s Cross, Acton and Birmingham, and leverages Outpost’s PBSA experience through asset managing The Valentine, a 333-bedroom asset in London, on behalf of Crosstree.

Troy Tomasik, Founder and CEO of Outpost Management, said: “The launch of Enclave: Student is a natural next step for Outpost Management and for the Enclave brand. Purpose-built student accommodation is an increasingly important part of the living spectrum, and one where operational excellence, technology and resident experience are critical to long-term performance.”

“Our experience across co-living, build-to-rent and PBSA has shown that students increasingly value flexibility, connectivity and high-quality shared spaces, alongside well-designed private accommodation. Enclave: Student is about delivering exactly that – well-operated homes that support how people live, study and connect today. Through our collaboration with BlackRock, we’re thrilled to be bringing Enclave’s effortless living concept into the student sector and to setting a new benchmark for modern, service-led student accommodation.”

The Store House is located within walking distance of the University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University and serves a student population of more than 65,000 across the city.
